Coins have been considered lucky charms since the early times as they were known to bring good fortune to the life of the coin bearer. Each piece of the metal signifies a different story and holds great historical value. Many coins are now considered rare and are traded at high rates in the bullion market. 1. 1787 Brasher Doubloon
A New York-based jeweler named Ephraim Brasher crafted this coin in the 18th century. It has the image of a rising sun. The state seal is on one side of the sun and an eagle with a shield on the other. This coin sold for more than $9 million in 2021. Its worth is estimated to be more now.

2. 1955 Doubled Die Lincoln Penny
This presidential coin bears a dual imprint on the words “In God We Trust” as well as “Liberty.” It was in circulation during the 1950s before it caught attention. There were approximately 24,000 coins released during that time. It can be exchanged for $1,000 to $85,000 based on the condition of the metal.

3. 1894-S Barber Dime
Only 24 pieces were created of this coin. It was produced in the San Francisco Mint by its designer Charles E. Barber. The 1894-S Barber Dime features the head of liberty on one side. One may be able to exchange this piece at a price of more than $1 million in the bullion market.

4. 1927-D Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle
This was a $20 gold coin that had the name of its designer Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Saint-Gaudens also created the native 1905-1907 model of the same coin. This rare gold coin may sell for over $1 million in the bullion market.

5. Edward III Florin
This is among the oldest and rarest out there. It circulated for only seven months between 1343 and 1344 and is now worth over $6 million.

6. The 2007 $1 Million Canadian Gold Maple Leaf
This unique coin weighs around 220 pounds. It has the image of Queen Elizabeth II on one side and a Canadian maple leaf on the other. The piece is currently worth more than $4 million, considering only six were crafted.

7. Lincoln Head Copper Penny
This masterpiece was crafted during World War II. It was usually made with steel as our country required copper and other metals for different work. Only a single batch was made with copper, and around 40 still exist. Furthermore, the different versions of these coins hold a value between $100,000 and $500,000.

8. 1794 Flowing Hair Silver Dollar
It was among the first sets of bullion made between 1794 to 1795. People believe the coin is now among the most rare and expensive. The $1 coin is now known to trade for $10 million in the bullion market.

9. 1913 Liberty Head V Nickel
The five-cent coins crafted between 1883 and 1913 are among the rarest. If someone wants this piece, they may have to shell out $5 million in the bullion market.

10. 1893 Morgan Silver Dollars
This set of dollars is not very rare but still holds considerable value. It is crafted with 90% silver. The ones which were minted in the year 1893 hold the maximum value at more than $5 million.
